Riley | Whitney High School – Class of 2016 | Rocklin Senior Portrait Photographer

Meet Riley!  She’s one of my awesome 2016 senior spokesmodels from Whitney High School!  Her session was a blast and as all senior sessions do, it started off with hair and make-up!  Then we headed out to her session on a perfect spring evening.  Couldn’t have asked for better weather and  I felt like around every corner was a new photo opportunity.  We had a blast!  If you know Riley, be sure to ask her how you can save on your senior session!!!

Here is Riley during her hair and make-up session.  A great way to get ready for your session which not only leaves you feeling confident and like a an amazing version of yourself, but is so much fun!

The eye detail is amazing isn’t it!  I am always fascinated watching the whole process.

And the final result!  She looks great!!

I loved this one so much.  The vegetation, steel, wood, brick, and iron rail just all blended together nicely!  Add one beautiful senior and bam!  Amazing senior photo!

Her expression here is just mesmerizing.

Would you believe these photos were taken in the same alley, just different sides?  Literally, just had her walk across the small alley for two completely different looks just a few steps away.

Riley brought along this fabulous hat!!  Little accessories like this can really bring some variety to your images.smiling on a bench in auburn

I asked Riley to share a little about herself.  Here are her answers!

I am currently in ASB/Leadership and a peer teacher for dance 1. Both are such a great experience and I have learned something for both classes.

I used to play basketball for 9 years and I recently just stopped to do what I really loved doing, dancing. Dance is such a great way to express yourself while still being yourself.

My most memorable moment from high school actually just happened, Junior Prom. I got to plan prom and seeing it come all together was just so cool to see happen. It was just such a magical night for me, I want to go back everyday!!!

I am going to head off to college, hopefull UNR and then get my teaching degree and become a high school history teacher.

Right in the middle of downtown is this amazing nature area.  I love that within a few steps we can have a downtown feel and a nature feel to give some variety to the session!  It’s the best of both worlds.

Something that is super random and unique about me is that I have a black streak in my hair that is hidden but when people find it they are so fascinated with it.

My favorite part is the transformation of hair and makeup. It just such a confidence boast for your shoot with Heather to get the best pictures you can do. Heather is so amazing, honestly the whole thing is just my favorite part. The hair the makeup the clothes and the place you get to choose. Heather really works with you to do what you like and that’s awesome because she finds you such amazing places to shoot at!!!

Some of my favorites from Riley’s session are the ones on the steps.  The light, contrast, outfit, everything just blends together so well!
